A Psychaitrist is a type of Physician who speciallizes in mental health. A Psychaitrist performs diagnosis of a patient through psychotherapy and also treats mental illness. Treatment is usually in the form of medication or therapy. Mnay years of schooling and training is required in order to become a Psychiatrist

2. What are the education requirements to become a psychiatrist?

Inorder to become a Psychaitrist,

  • you must posses a bachelor's degree in addition to four years of medical school.
  • To enter medical school, you must posses a minimum of the three years of college coursework/Bachelor degree.
  • You must also complete and pass the medical college admissions test with a sufficient score.
