Doing a job and along side looking for management field is a good thinking. If you have atleast three years of work experience, a general management course from a good BSchool is recommended.
With job, you can do it in distance mode or part time basis (class room based). You may also choose a specialisation based on your current job role like finance, hr, marketing, etc. There are other specialisations also available like SCM, Project Management, etc.
Ensure that you really require management knowledge and it is the right time to do the course. You will have to manage job as well as studies and therefore you will have to do a good time management. Job performance should not go down and the course will help you grow in the current company as well as give more opportunities elsewhere.
