When we talk about the Banking field we see that there are many career opportunities . Banking system of India is one of the strongest Banking system. Banking sector has been growing rapidly with the growing economy of the country. In Banking sector earlier there were only the Public Banks but later there has been also many private banking players in this field.
One can make a career in any of the Banking Sector i.e Private or Public Banking Sector. Both of them has been growing rapidly.
If you are planning to make a career in the Private Banks like ICICI,AXIS,HDFC etc than for them usually the eligibility criteria is as follows-
You can apply for the Bank Clerk or PO Exam. You need to check for the notification,application,eligibility etc. to the respective banks website.
If your are planning to make a career in Public Banking Sector than again you have an option to apply for the Clerk or PO exam.
The Candidates who aspires to make a career in SBI bank they need to give an SBI PO or Clerk exam.; whereas the candidate who wish to make a career as PO or Clerk in any of the Government Banks they need to give an IBPS Bank PO or Clerk exam. IBPS BANK PO and Clerk exam is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection for the remaining 21 Government Banks in the Country.
Following are the eligibility criteria for the Bank Clerk and Bank PO Exams-
Looking at your percentage you are not eligible to apply for the Private Banking Exam but you can apply for the Public Government Bank Exams. In Public Banks percentage is not an criteria you need to crack the exam and need to be in the merit.
