The IIT’S i.e. Indian Institute of Technology and Nit’s i.e. National Institute of Technology are considered to be the top engineering colleges in India. A candidate must be from science stream and score well in IIT JEE exam in order to pursue engineering course from any of these colleges. One can also go for state level entrance exam for state level colleges. The rules for state level admission and entrance exam vary in every state.
Another option is a candidate can opt for diploma course after tenth standard. After completing diploma course, he can get admission to second year of engineering course.
