JEE Main and Advanced syllabus
Hello Anshu,
Agreed getting a job as per the qualification and the profile and salary is difficult but not impossible. As a fresher one would face such issues for sure. But being determined and confident with ones potentials is the key to success. Initially one needs to focus on gaining experience by taking a job in a company that will enhance your skill. Thus job profile is important at this juncture.
After gaining experience you could apply to any organization and demand the requisite salary just based on your skills or expertise.
Please note that MBA qualification is not a ladder towards higher salary and or position. Many students even from reputed institutes, have not landed into good jobs. MBA will stress on therory, practical application is something you need to develop.
Hone your skills in terms of being creative, innovative and out of the box thinking, managing a team but being a team players, foresightedness and most important not giving up attitude is crucial to survive in the competitve industry.
Wish you good luck...
Dear Aspirant,
You also seem to be under the impression that doing an MBA would result in higher salary and position. I am sad to know that you too are thinking wrong.
Getting a job is very easy, but for that you should ask yourself whether you are really worth of getting the job? Jobs are not offered on paper certificates and degrees only. The study which you have acquired in four years needs to be reflected in the practical sense to the company and only then they will hire you and not otherwise. Always remember that there are ample of jobs available but the employability of candidates is very low and so there is not point in shouting that getting a job is difficult.
Developing skills can be done by yourself without an MBA. An MBA is an academic course and you will also have to take efforts in improving your soft skills.
How much are you confident about your engineering knowledge and skills? Companies pay salaries to candidates who can implement what they have learnt and are willing to be a part of the company for their growth and for this they pay you salaries.
18 thousand salary for a fresher who has not proved himself in the practical industry is fine. As a fresher, you should not behave and expect like you have 10 years of experience and know everything in engineering. You are in a learning phase where earning is secondary. Once you learn the practical world, salary will keep increasing. Dont be in a haste to earn more. Nothing comes before time.
Best wishes
Hi Anshu,
The job market is competitive no doubt about that. However, if you are confident in yourself and you know what you are good at, you can get what package you want it doesn't matter. In the long, your career will be decided and determined by your patience and stamina to believe in yourself and effort your do.
You did engineering and then you are going for MBA after few years you will feel like going in for Bank PO exam also. The important question is why are you doing what you are doing, now you say package tomorrow you might say opportunity and then the day after tomorrow you would say job security.

In corporate and private sector it is important that you leverage in your network and make the most out of it.
Do things that help you gain knowledge in your area of interests and also help you to build your social/professional network that will give your benefit in the coming times ahead.
Also, in MBA course you need to develop what field you want to work in and ten accordingly focus all your attention and start to take knowledge and guidance to make sure you get the best package. Start to participate in college fest, competitions, Business-Plan event interact with students from another campus to know what are the companies that are coming to the campus and what package is being offered to other students as such you will know about the profiles not from your seniors, college placement cell and also from students from other campuses. Start preparing what you will do in addition to academics during your MBA curriculum will decide your placement and package on campus.
