Go ahead there is no problem in joining any MNC no problem in starting your own firm, no problem in joining any PSU just prepare yourself that is very important and I guess you are a very good candidate having descent academic record so you could be able to work out accordingly. Please try to follow my opinion if suits you otherwise leave them on your own personal set parameters.

1. Explore the list of national and multinational industries in India, UAE and eastern asia-singapore, south korea, japan etc.
2. Better you make your CV very strong and must know the justification of your lag phase what you seem to be out of the track due to your personal obligation so get a affidavit for that which must be in favor of your professional career and reflects that you have incubated yourself for years to achieve something and show the outcome in structural manner. Must list the things in your CV accordingly.
Aslo make the statement of purpose based on your academic record and try to maintain the coherency with your CV that is very crucial generally people commit mistake in these two elemental things and therefore failing to be shortlisted for any interview call as well as consecutive result.
3. Be honest with your statement and then follow the pathways of jobs: For India you can interact the employers personally but make sure you are awared of everything what they produce how they execute and implement their agendas and where do you stand for a meaningful contribution. After knowing all these give your best while interview and must realize your interview panel about your strength and their requirement, once a compatibility gets established you will be given your expectations even more than your expectation. Therefore you need to learn how to showcase the skill at right time and right place.
