Opting for a course would purely be based on what you are interested in.

Depending on your interests can you make a choice.

Pharmacy is an undergraduate course, 1 4 years course. As a B-Pharma graduate, you would have the knowledge of production, maintenance and manufacturing of medicines. If you are interested into research you would have to get into M.Pharma followed by a PhD in your topic of interests.

As an M. Pharma you could get into Research, but you would work as a Research assistant, mainly into formulation and animal and human trials and their readings.
After B.Pharma you could work as a Medical writer, mainly writing a brief about a medicinal properties and its effects on humans.
Also as a B.Pharma graduate, you are certified pharmacists under the Medical council, so you could join a medical shop and guide the customers accordingly, depending on their ailments.
As such scope of a pharmacists begins right from a graduate course, but it again depends on your interests and liking.

Other options you could think of includes:
  • Microbiology: Study and effects of microbes on humans
  • Bio-technology: Study of technology and biology. Mainly related to X-rays machines and other machines used to detect issues in humans
  • Bio-Physics: Combining physics and biology
  • Organic chemistry
  • Hospitality Management
  • Zoology
  • B.ScIT / BCA

There are many options, its for you to decide.
If you are confused, better to undergo an Aptitude tests and know your strengths and weakness and then choose a career.

Wish you all the best....
