Hello Aditi

Both the careers have good scope in India. However, both the careers need different aptitude and skill set. I consider that you are good at mathematics and biology. However, being a computer engineer, one should think logically, work on coding, programming, testing etc. You must have patience to sit in a chair for long hours and work on the solution.

On the other side a physician must possess excellent hand eye co-ordination, ability to handle stressful situations, empathy and great communication skills. Analyze your attitude and soft skills you possess.

If you are confused about it, go for ‘Ideal Career Test’ provided by careerguide.com You will do great once you choose a career as per your aptitude and skills.

All the best

Dear Student, to best of my knowledge, choice of a profession is purely a matter of personal choice. Don't be in a fix what to do and what not to, rather be single minded and focused. Just stay cool headed and think over this issue and try to find out what interests you the most. If you are asking about the relevance and future scope of the two then let me tell you both are equally good and have quite promising future. Logically thinking, Almost every one today is suffering from one or the other ailment and so they have to consult a physician, secondly no one ever bargains with a doctor, whatever he/she has asked for one has to pay, Thus the future of a medical science student is safe. On the other hand technology has advanced so much today that use of cctv cameras at homes/malls/organizations has become very common, the gadgets like smart phones/smart watches/digital bands etc. what not is there that is computerized, so, to be clear a computer engineer is also going to flourish in the present age today.

The crux of the story is, just make up your mind and choose either of the two lines specified by you and get through, all the best. I may recommend some names here which may be chosen for admission - AIIMS, New Delhi,.....................CMC, Chennai,............................VIT University, Vellore,......................Lovely Professional University, Phagwara
