Hi There,
Firstly I am confused myself with your question here.Since I have not been able to find any masters in BA in India. Probably you or one of the counselors here can throw light on that subject for me.
But in layman's term, please note that Masters is a specialization or an in-depth study of a particular subject, which the student has graduated in. Whereas Management or MBA is specialization of a subject but keeping the managerial role in the mind.
But my question to you here is, why do you wish to shift to BA, after a 5 years extensive experience in the field of IT. Please note that if you shift roles now, not that you cannot, but you would be counted as a fresher and would have to begin right from the base only.Rather I would suggests that if you are keen on a BA profile, before you opt for a course, apply for a job and get a hang of what the job involves and then depending on the job demand or position demand opt for the course.
Anyways as a counselor I would suggests you to continue in the field of IT. Rather pursue an MBA in IT and certifications along whichever is needed.
Rest is your choice.
Hope this helps.Wish you good luck...
