.Hey good question.

Since this is a techno savvy world, it definitely has a good scope and is apart and parcel of every industry or home or individual.

After your 12th, you would have to first clear your Graduation, either you pursue a general B.Com or a BCA program.

You could then further it up with a specialization i.e an MCA or M.ScIT, which would give you an in-depth into the IT world and its application.
Before you get into MCA course, you would have to clear an entrance exam and please note its a huge competition, since any graduate could opt for the course.Selection is purely on merit in the entrance exam.

The MCA program inclines towards application development and thus emphasizes on different languages and tools to develop better and faster applications.

Unorganised Sector Unorganised Sector
As an MCA graduate you would be trained under System designing, Software development and applications, Computer networking, graphics, Web designing, database administration, data mining and warehousing etc...
In terms of specializations you could opt for:
  1. Systems development
  2. Systems management
  3. Trouble shooting
  4. Hardware
  5. Networking
  6. Interment and LAN Connection
  7. Management Information Systems (MIS)

As it is an IT World, your knowledge is useful in all sectors, so you could opt for either private or public organizations.

Also please note that since the field is pretty volatile, every second, something new is generated.
So your study never ends.
Make it a point to get yourself upgraded with the latest technologies through certificate courses.

Wish you all the very best.....
