Hello Pushpa,

Quiet confusing. How come you landed into this situation.

Why did you take up an HR job afte an experience in the finance sector. And now again you doing an MBA in finance.

Make up your mind now itself. As such contradictory degree and work experience wont count. According to me now itself you should shift to the finance department, as you already have an experience and are studying finance itself. Or else, if you comfortable and are able to make full use of your skills and potentials in the HR  field, then pursue a management course in HR. Please decide early, because correspondence studies helps only when you put into practice what you learn during the course.

It should be easier for you to decide whether HR  or Finance because you have an experience in both fields. Sit back and analyse.

Wish you good luck...

Dear Aspirant,

How many years of experience have you acquired in the HR domain? If it is more than 4 years, then your finance experience of four years would not be directly relevant now in the new job market in India.

Now whether to choose HR or Finance should be dependent on your liking, quality of experience and your willingness to continue over your career life remaining.

I feel that since you have the HR domain experience from Dubai and you have the past experience in Finance and also you are qualified, you can look out for companies who have HR plus Accounts requirement. This is possible, however cannot be guaranteed. But definitely this is a possibility. Your resume should say this at the very beginning.

Please contact the private job consultants and upload your resume on the job portals in India.

Best wishes
