Hi Ashish , Searching job in itself is a full time assignment. Make a plan and then implement it. Prepare list of companies, consultants,ex-students from your institute.Join some google groups.Look for off-campus informations...etc

Hi,

Greeting's for the day!!!

Computer Engineers are responsible for designing, developing, implementing and testing computer-based hardware and software, including the components that are found inside computer equipment, as well as actual devices that contain the computers and the software that runs on those machines. They may also design network that connects computer systems, and work on integrating software programs with computer hardware.

Education Requirements:
To become Computer Engineer, you will typically require a bachelor of science degree in computer engineering, computer science or electrical engineering.

Since the computer engineering field is quite broad, the required technical skills listed in the job postings you may come across will vary, depending on whether the job is more hardware or software focused, and which industry te employer belongs to. Typically, you will require to have the followings:

1. An understanding of the particular computer hardware architecture you will be working with.
2. Experience designing, coding and testing softwares.
3. Familiarity with Software test procedures or scripts

9. Knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, Java and other Object-Oriented programming langauges.

Computer engineers usually use Computer-Assisted software engineering, or CASE, tools to automate the process. They also test, debug and update programs.

Other Crucial Skills:
Since computer engineers work closely with programmers, designers, product developers and testers, they really need to have strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a team.

Computer engineers are likely to find work in a variety of fields, including (but not limited to):
1. Telecommunications
2. Manufacturing
3. Transportation
4. Product Development

Here are some interesting "Niche" areas of Computer Engineering:

2. Supporting high performance and embedded computing systems for nuclear medicines
3. Military Software Support

Alternatively, you can pursue some Advanced Certification in "Computer Engineering" with latest programming languages or can enroll yourself for ME (Masters of Engineering in Computer Science).

You can try for various Openings into various MNC's and along with it can go ahead with further studies through Distance Learning Mode from AICTE Approved Universities.
