Hi ,

I would suggest you revisit your 'career aspirations' again and then decide. Assuming you had a strong desire to be an Engineer in future, that too in Computers, then it should have been backed by suitable percentage too.
Your percentage indicates that you have lost interest in 'PCM' subjects somewhere.....take a pause and answer yourself.

I'm not trying to discourage you, however an assessment / intervention done at the right time might show you alternative routes to follow and be successful.

Actually, the scenario is apart from last qualified degree % , companies / recruiters also ask about %ages in Std.XII & Std.X. Some companies even look for academic first class(above 60%) . I'm sure you are aware of these eligibility criteria's.Hence, the above suggestion.

However, if you still have the gut feeling that you can be a sucessful engineer , then go ahead !!

Best wishes,
Sumit Basu

Dear student,

Usually, under the mgt quota seat, not many private colleges impose any restriction on the marks obtained but it may differ from college to college and state to state. You may not get your desired brach or stream, but admission should not be much problem. So, the best option is - check with the college directly where you want the admission. Mgt quota seats are more about paying money to college mgt so it should not be a much problem.

To be on the safer side, you can also check with various consutlants and agents who deal in such seats as they can guide you best where are you apply and how to get admission in colleges of mumbai. if you are very particular about the college, you can directly approach them and ask this question openly from the admission desk and counsellors of the college.

All the very best!
