Hi, well you sound quite frustrated and trust me creative careers like that of fashion designer can never be taken up if you are not having a rock and roll time.
I am curious to understand what made you choose fashion design? Are you one who actually enjoys fashion, styling up ? Or you were misguided by glamour which you see in TV & movies ?
Students do think that fashion designing as a course is just about walking on ramps and wearing new clothes but reality check is that it is a field which requires equal amount of hard work - Stitching, hemming, sketching, merchandising is important part of entire course curriculum.
Quick suggestion - Talk to a career counselor and understand your interest inclination. If you are creative person then choose a creative course - there are plenty. Check it out here for yourself -

If you are not creative person - Don't hesitate to quit your course and choose next best one. Here's another resource to help you out.
Understand your Ideal Career
Hey there,
Creative fields at times can be quite frustrating, since being creative at all times is next to impossible.
But to be honest, that is what is required in this field.Mind if if the course is straining you out completely, working day in and day out would be more of a tasks then for you.
Better as Surabhi Madam has saaid, talk to counselors, get an Aptitude tests done here itself on careerguide.com
Moreover, if you are sure this is the career for you, then i would say take regular breaks.
Hope this helps.
Wish you good luck...
