So nice to see your interest in Economics. I can tell you exactly since I am an Economics masters myself.
Symbiosis is a very well known Institute and there is huge competition from all over India for their entrance tests. Therefore it is very competitive in nature.
Though the entrance test SET for getting admitted to the SSE is based on the 12th level of commerce/arts, I would not suggest tuitions for it, however would recommend you to be very good at the basics and whatever you have learnt in the HSC level.
If you can get into touch with any pass out or previous year student there, it will be helpful for you to understand what the test is all about. I am sure that SSE will allow you to meet up the current students of the SSE who have come through the SET.
