My question to you is have you spoken to your management regarding you being unsatisfied with the position and salary offered?. If not do it ASAP. It will give you an idea as to what they are looking out for.
At the sametime with a vast experience of 12 years, you deserve a higher position. Probably a managerial position. Apply to other automobile companies highlighting your strengths and contribution. I would advise against changing the organization as that would nullify your experience.
In the meanwhile pursue a part time MBA. It will lead you to a managerial position whereby you are into leading a team.

Service Engineer job role has limitations and I can understand that after 12 years you must be feeling stagnant.
You are a fortunate candidate that after BE Mechanical through correspondence, you got a job in JK Tyres and you have been now into the Senior Service Engineer level.
I would suggest that you should continue working and not leave the job at all. If you are not satisfied with your current profile and wish to change, you should definitely try looking for another company which will help you get a little raise in pay and work and culture. Your age of 36 is of settlement and therefore, I would suggest that you can continue or change to another company.
I would recommend MBA through distance or part time from a good Institute. You may take up Operations as a specialisation in MBA. This may help you climb up the management ladder.
