I appreciate your aspiration and ambition to get back to the corporate world after a long break.
You have changed tracks of career quite a many number of times. First from teaching to medical transcription and left that job. After six years you wish to go to an unrelated field of IT. I am not sure whether you have really got to know about your own self regarding your career competencies in all these years.
Since you left your job six years back, you are almost a fresher again in the corporate world. Now that you wish to go to IT, you are a fresher. Your age is a barrier now.
MSC Chemistry is not a relevant qualification at all for IT field job.
I feel, you should contact forums like www.jobsforher.com where you can find jobs for women who wish to come back to corporate after a break.
You definitely need to do strong and core courses for IT, but I am not sure whether you will be able to study as a student all over again.
I would suggest that you should again look out for medical transcription jobs which are comparatively easier to get since you have a background.
