This question should have been asked by you or thought about before pursuing MA Political Science.
How did you know that you have an interest in Information Technology and that too as a career? What is the base for your thinking? You have created confusions for yourself.
For making a career in Information Technology you will have to learn it through a formal course and this means that you will still need to put atleast two or three years in doing an IT related course so that you can get a job in the future on that basis. How many more years will you keep studying and wasting money and time?
With MA Political Science, you can have scope in teaching and government jobs, which you have not thought about still when you took admission into MA course.
For IT you need to have Maths as a subject for taking admission into courses like MCA or MCM. You need to learn programming, etc through short term courses.
If you are sure and decided that you want to go to Information Technology sector and you will not come back from it, then go ahead.
