Please note that to be a lecturer, first you need to be an Assistant lecturer, for which basic requirement is a masters degree followed by clearing the NET / SET exam. For a permanent position a P.Hd in your subject would be a necessity
Thus I would suggest that pursue a degree followed by a masters degree in the subject you wish to teach in.
