Great to hear that you have already set a career plan. Good. But I am sure, you might have thought of something and then decided on MBA. I want you to stick to that plan.
As a counselor, I can only lay down various options with reasonings. Choice is something that you need to make depending on your line of interest.
Since you have mentioned a degree in hotel management, it falls under the hospitality sector, so you could opt for an MBA in hospitality management, who would be responsible for the functioning and administrative functioning of an organization.
In terms of other specializations in MBA. Please note hotels consists of various other departments to run smoothly. So they need management students from various background. Eg. To manage the finances and accounts and as well as payment of salary they would need a student with an MBA in Finance. Similiarly with other departments. So you can select any specialization right from Hospitality to Finance to HR to Marketing to Supply chain management.
Choose on the basis of what interests you in terms of the job profile. Hence a research and if possible meeting professionals in related fields would be helpful.
In terms of whether studying abroad or not. Again its a personal.choice. Please note that when it comes to studying MBA then as a counselor I suggest that, pursue the course based on the country you wish to settle down at. Since management differs from country to country and people to people.
