Hello Disha,

Please note that to be a judge in the future, she first needs to study LAW and start working as an advocate first. After few years of experience, she would have to clear internal exams and qualify to work as a judge.

As such there is no specific stream to pursue LAW.

She has 2 options:

  1. She can either after 12th any stream, appear for CLAT and qualify for the 5 years LLB program.
  2. After graduation, any stream, she could appear for CLAT and qualify for the 3 years LLB program.

As a Counselor, I would advise, after 12th appear for CLAT and then opt for a 5 years LLB program.
If after graduation, then its just that she gets another graduation degree, one useful and other a waste. At that point of time, she could pursue either a masters or any other courses or certifications, instead of double graduation.

Incase after 12th she does not clear CLAT, then probably, she can choose the route through graduation.

Hope this helps.

Wish you good luck...
