Hi,I am 23yrs old & have done graduation in Instrumentation Engineering this year.I have joined Philips Electronics India Ltd (Healthcare division) as a Field service engineer.I am confused regarding what to do next MBA or M.Tech? I intend on appearing for the UPSC after masters. So please suggest what I should do that will help me in my career.Thanks.

Hi Jyoti,
You have all the options in mind including MBA - management side, M.Tech - Technical side - R&D, and UPSC - general studies. You should focus first on what you want from life and then see what you are best in. If your career matches your aspirations and utilizes your talents, then only you can be successful.
Meanwhile, with a Instrumentation Engineering background and a job in Philips, you represent a strong case for R&D field and M.Tech side.
