It’s good that you have observed the qualities on your own. If you wish to pursue career in management, you can ca discuss the same with your seniors in the organizations and work in cross functional departments. Few organizations also sponsor full time MBA of their employees who are aspiring for the same and qualify entrance exams.
It will help you climb the ladder. If you wish to learn more about management skills, executive MBA program is highly recommended as you are an experienced candidate. Distance learning program might not be that helpful as you will not get the practical experience of case studies and discussions.
You may refer to books that give information of entrance exams. ‘Infoguide to MBA entrance’ is an ebook on the same topic.
