Hi,

You are most welcome. We are always there to help you!
It is highly appreciating that you have never taken coaching for any of the exams you have give. It is not at all compulsory to take coaching to clear your exam, one can obviously prepare on one's own. But it is certainly difficult to do the same as the level of exams is very difficult. Don't be scared of going to a coaching class as when you study with so many people around each one will have their own doubts and confusions and when they ask you will also find the concepts clearer. Children will also share their knowledge and it is definitely going to help you. As far as the contact no of ICAI Kanpur is as follows:

Hi,

It is correct that the graduates are exempted from giving the CPT or the Common Proficiency Test or also known as PE1. So if you have already done your graduation then you just need to give PE2 which is of 10 months duration. After passing PE2 and before appearing for Final the candidate has to register as articled clerks.
250 hours of training is compulsory to begin article slip. This can be done alongside PE1 and PE2 study.
Practical training of 3 years is compulsory before giving the final exam.

After final exam a candidate subsequently has to undergo a programme on General Management Communication Skills after which he or she can register as Associate Member of ICAI. After continuing for five years an associate moves up the ladder to become a Fellow Member.
Continuing professional education or CPE is mandatory for CA's i.e. through attending professional workshops, seminars conferences etc...... minimum 25 hours CPE hours credit will be required over 3 years period.
So you can just go about doing your CA.

Good Luck!
