Hello Sanjeev, 

2 statements of yours, prompt me into writing this: 

  1. Irrelevant job here and there, despite being an engineer
  2. Change of field.

As an engineer when you did not work in your related field, then will you after an M.Tech work as an engineer?.

And secondly its been a long time. Its high time you move towards a managerial position, than investing 2 years in masters, again hunting for a job and then pursuing an MBA.

Best would be, keeping in mind, change of career and time lost, best would be to pursue an MBA program.
