BPharm being a very good educational qualification to get started in the pharmaceutical companies, definitely in todays world specialisation is a must. Apart from MPharm and MBA Pharma, I would suggest Clinical Research as a very good and in demand career option.
Based on your BPharm qualification, you can get admission to Clinical Research Certificate / Diploma Course in a recognised institute. Clinical Research course leads you to a niche area of pharmaceutical testing & research. In India and abroad, there is good scope for Clinical Research Scientists / Analysts. Companies like Emcure, Ranbaxy, Fortis recruit BPharm + Clinical Research candidates and pay them a very good salary.
Later after gaining of around five to seven years of work experience you may consider doing MBA Pharma. But that is not at all a compulsory requirement to progress.
