JEE Main and Advanced syllabus
Hello Tejas,
Great that you have a goal set already.
Here I will take you towards the steps by step process needed to pursue an MBA.
First is clearing the entrance exam. Entrance exams like CAT, CET, Exams conducted by few Institutes by themselves like XAT, SAT, NMAT etc.
The entrance exam focuses on your logical ability, numerical ability, language skills and GK. You can join classes for the same. Please note, at this juncture focus on the concepts only. Later on as time approaches for the exam, you can solve papers by timing yourself.
While focusing on the entrance exam preparation, focus also on the group discussion and Personal Interview round too. For group discussion sufficient knowledge in all fields are required. Read as much as you can, right from current affairs to politics to sports tio health to education etc. Just reading or acquiring knowledge is not enough, but having an opinion about the same and being able to articulate it is important. So get into the discussion mode but not arguments.
As far as Personal Interview is concerned, be prepared with all sorts of commonly asked questions like your aim, where do you see yourself 5 years from now, why do we select you.
Prepare well in terms of logic but it should not be a pally pally answer. This part would be easier for you, since you are already a working professional and have cleared the interview round.
In terms of college, your target should be the top tier colleges like IIM's, JB, Welingkar, Lovely University, Indian Institute of management, Indian School of Business, Xaviers, Symbiosis etc. But no issues if you do not get into these colleges. Keep your target for tier 1 and 2 colleges and colleges with good placement records, which when you apply for CAT or CET, you would get a brochure, which has the list of colleges.
Hope this helps.
Wish you good luck..
