Hi , should I go for mba in finance , the main problem is that I have a speech impediment called cluttering ....

Hi .. I am really confused on what should I do ....i am currenlty a student of b,com(hons) 2nd year in delhi university. I have a keen interest and knowledge in finance and management , but the main issue is that I have a speech impediment called cluttering , cluttering as the word expalins means messy , in this impediment I speak a bit fast and sometimes the word gets too disorganised . I can easliy get through my opinions and questions to the other person but sometimes it may take more than 1 try . I always wished for securing a career in fiance and worked very hard in my 12th class .. I scored 94% in 12th class so that I could secure a seat in delhi university and currently I am working very hard in CAT preparation to secure a seat in a prestigious b- school , but I fear that I may be disqualified at the GD or the interview level , so should I opt for mba and take a loan of 15lacs because I may never land a good job or should I change my field of study ,which I dont want to because I wont fit in any other profile and I will feel always incomplete .. thanks ,

Hi Friend,

Greetings to you!!!

Its always good to know once weakness but at the same time its important for one to overcome the weakness to make you successful in life.

You have done a excellent task of being focused on your career path and i would strongly suggest you to continue on the path you have decided and worked towards so far.

Finance requires acumen to analyse and interpret with less of speaking and if does as well it would not matter since people would be interested to know the content of your speech and not the way of communication.

I am also a commerce graduate with a career made in finance. i was also told by my friend that you speak very fast and we cant understand sometimes but this never allowed me to think the way you are thinking. Just be slightly conscious about it if you want to improve it the same would get corrected with practice...its not something which is a impairment for you.

As far as Passing if GDs are concerned one of my Friend had stammering issues which was quite big for him but he was sure that he has knowledge and content and this would make him successful.Today he is quite successful and making most of proud.

At last what i can say is that if you believe in your self and you know you are good people would understand it, there are various people around who don't have any substance so industry value people with knowledge

Keep following your dreams you would reach your Destination

Wish you all the best!!!!

Vaibhav
