Hi Anoop

To take you through the details of the course your sister wishes to pursue i.e CS or Company Secretary. This course

is regulated by the body THE INSTITUTE OF COMPANY SECRETARIES IN INDIA(ICSI). just like  CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT (CA) which is regulated by ICAI. These are not offered by Colleges as such and the exams are conducted at national level.

Now a CS is a person who deals with administration of a company, particularly with regards to  compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and for ensuring that decisions of the board of directors are implemented. So a person who has a law degree along with CS becomes very strongly qualifies to take care of serious compliance matter.

However one should decide to pursue CS only if she in interested in the same. Please visit the official website to understand the entry requirement and the course content:

https://www.icsi.edu/WebModules/AboutUs/Courses/CS_Course.htm

Now coming to the Law part. CS i is a course , if pursued with passion would give a highly rewarding corporate career but it requires a great deal of hard work and extensive studies. So pursuing both the courses simultaneously can be highly taxing .

Rather it will be better to have CS done first and then joining an organization and then if further required a degree in law can be pursued.

Hope this helps.
