The role you are looking out for is completely a Research oriented job.

Please note that Researchers are not a very highly paid professionals. What I mean is that their remunerations are not equal to the amount of work they put in.
Hence most of the Researchers work as a lecturer half the time and devote the rest of the time to research

Pursuing any field looking at the payment profile won't be good idea.

My answer for your first question is as follow:
(1) Highest paid health care professionals and scope in India
Well, within healthcare, there is lot of diversity so it is difficult to pinpoint specific profession.
1. Medical professionals in India are highly paid within healthcare setting. Within medical professionals,
specialists such as radiologists, anesthetist, gynecologist, physician etc. make handsome salary.
2. Para-medical professionals (nursing, medical technician etc.) also make good salary. Within this,
diagnostic professionals, clinical researchers are among well-paid professionals.
3. Public health professionals in development sectors (working with WHO, UN agencies, Government) too
make handsome salary.
4.Pharmacists, both who are into job as well as set up own venture make good money.
5.Healthcare management and hospital administration professionals also in the club of receiving decent
annual packages.

Just for your information, in India, IT professionals are highly paid profession. Then professionals like CA, CS and management experts from reputed institutes are paid well. Subsequently, investment bankers, aviation professional, petroleum and gas industry professionals are in queue.

However, your aptitude, interest and passion for work is utmost important to get highly paid.

(2) Scope in abroad
Except IT, management, all other profession is regulated by specific country's laws and you may require certification from specific country

Para-medical profession has indeed wide scope in western countries.
