For Junior Research Fellowship, you should apply for the exam like CSIR NET which is organised by NTA on behalf of CSIR (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research).
The exam is organised for testing the eligibility of the candidate for lectureship (Assistant Professor) and for awarding Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).
Lakh of candidates appears in this examination, but only few of them get a chance to clear it.
To avail the Junior Research Fellowship, you will have to choose the option JRF & Lectureship both while filling up th CSIR NET Application Form.
You will have to choose one subject out of five for which the exam is conducted.
