Banking sector of India is the strongest in the world. Banking has a great importance in developing the economy of our country. Banking has been rapidly growing and expanding in different parts of India. Banking is one of the career option that many students aspire to make a career. Banking sector is one of the best career option considered and is the respected profession in the society.

Banking in commerce field is one of the high ranking profession. Its expected that there are large number of people are going to retire from the Banking Sector.

The person who aspires to make a career in the Banking Sector especially in the Public Banking Sector they need to go through the exam. There are two types of Exams are conducted in the Government Banking Sector i.e Bank Clerk and Bank PO.Bank PO is higher designation offered in the Government Banking Sector. Bank PO exam is conducted for the students who are Graduates. There are two types of Bank PO exam conducted.

Following are the eligibility criteria for the Bank Clerk and Bank PO Exams-

  1. A candidate should have completed a Graduation Degree from any of the stream from a recognised university or a student who are in the final year of the degree and waiting for their results are also eligible to apply for the Bank Exam.
  2. Nationality- Indian
  3. Age- 20 to 30 years; 5 years age relaxation for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for disabled person.

You need to meet the all above mentioned Criteria and than you can apply for the Bank Exams.

Go for the Bank PO exam instead of going  for the Bank Clerk Exam though you can apply for the Bank Clerk also.
