  • Dockyard Maintenance: Dockyard means maintaining the demand and controlling the delivery of the shipments in order to properly deliver goods and make a proper transaction happen. This is done with the proper approach to control content and all the other desired quantities of goods. This includes the proper analysis of all the orders to their comparison of demand is done. In order to meet the demand of all the consumers and clients and hence a proper and more statistical approach will help to maintain the stock as per requirement and hence leading the inventory in a better position and delivery easy.
  • Inventory Maintenance: Inventory maintenance can be defined as the procedure of holding and completing all the stuff in inventory including all the desired and possible conditions that needed to be maintained and hence making the proper shape of inventory and placement of the products in order to meet the demands. This involves with all the desired operations of an inventory from top to down movement to ordering new stocks as per the requirement, all fell under the category of inventory maintenance and inventory management. Which is why inventory management skills play a vital role in the supply and logistics management.

  • Transportation Control: This is the most common skill that is needed most in the logistics and supply chain field. In order to meet the demand of the desired commodity from the consumer’s side, proper delivery with the highest efficiency and with the optimal cost needs to be done and this is all done under the transportation control. The transportation control looks in order to receive products for the inventory as well as delivery to the end users. This is the most important role of the transportation control. As transportation is the most part of the logistics, the transportation control and delivery management skills are the most generic one in this section.
