Career in Banking is one of the safe caree option. Banking Industry has been growing rapidly with the growing economy of the country. The new financial policies has been giving a lot of opportunities to the banking sector to expand their business and also to provide various different services to their clients. Career in Banking is one of the top preferred career option by the Commerce Students.
One have an option to make a career in the Banking as Clerk,PO,IT officer, Law officer etc. Whereas students also have an option to select option in which sector of Banking they wish to make their career i.e Private or Government.
In order to make a career in private banking sectors especially like ICICI,HDFC etc. one needs to give their respective Bank exams conducted by these Banks the eligibility is to have an Graduation degree from any stream whereas they have a percentage criteria which you need to check with them.
If you wish to make a career in the Public Banking Sector, you can make a career either in the SBI Banks or in the rest 21 Government Banks. SBI conducts there own exam for Clerk and PO posts whereas for other banks one needs to give an IBPS exam for Clerk or PO. The eligibility is as follows-
1. A candidate who have completed a Graduation from any stream from a recognised university or who is in the last year of the Graduation and waiting for the result can apply for the Bank exams.
2. nationality - Indian.
3. Age - 20-30 years; 5 years relaxation for SC/ST , 3 years for OBC and 10 years for Disabled .
For IT officer and Law officer the eligibility criteria is different.
You can apply for the Bank PO exams and Clerk exams.
