Interesting Career goals. I also liked the idea of you working and studying.

Why not take this step further.
You are in the process of completing your Graduation, so get over with it.
Once you are done, you can simultaneously work and pursue CA course too.
You may be aware that for CA you dont have to attend regular classes, only you would have to put in maximum 8 hours study. Since you would be working, try to adjust your time before and after work. You may have to give out on little refreshments like hanging out with friends or movies, and dedicate yourself completely to CA preparations.
Also note that once you pursue CA, you would have to look out for an experience preferably under a practicing CA, since during the course Internship is a necessity.
Before taking a final step, check the CA website, and go through the process and then take a call.
All the best....

Hello My Dear Chartered Accountant Aspirant,

I am very very happy to see your high spirits and high motivation levels you have for doing the Chartered Accountancy course and that too while doing your full time job. I really appreciate this highly. In my more than seven years of career counselling experience, I have rarely seen working people wanting to do such a high professional course.

I am thank ful to you for deciding to approach the right career platform of CareerGuide.com for seeking guidance and advice on your career path way. I am happy to contribute in your career success. I am sure that the experts here will guide you appropriately.

Graduation and Chartered Accountancy course:

Firstly I would really like to see you become a commerce graduate will good marks (at least 55%). Though are working, you have not left the education and now you will soon become a graduate. This is highly appreciable thing. I can understand that you need to work since you are only the bread winner in the family and I really want to compliment you for this great and proud work.

Chartered Accountancy course is really a wonderful course and considering your commerce graduation background, I think this course will definitely suit you. Your ambition to grow in life and have an excellent career is fantastic and the course like Chartered Accountancy can really help you achieve your dream.

As you may be aware that Charetered Accountancy course studies require lot of practice hours, reading and concentration. If your job starts at the right time and gets over at the right time and you can leave for home, then doing Chartered Accountancy course should not be a problem. However you will need to be very focused, disciplined and your day and night schedule should be very well planned. You will need to follow the daily time table of studies strictly. Also you should not skip any topic in the studies due to any reason like lack of time, etc. since majorly this causes problem for students.

You should be ready for perseverance and patience since Chartered Accountancy course is competitive course and not every body passes every group in the first attempt. There fore prepare your self 100% for each group.

It is compulsory for every chartered accountancy student to complete the internship of three years under a CA firm or in a company's accounts department as approved by ICAI. I think it would be best if you visit the local ICAI Office and speak to the experts there who will guide you exactly.

All the very Best!
