Hello My Dear...

I am glad that you approached from Dubai for seeking guidance and information about how to get into a teaching job and that too in India. Your decision to come to India from Dubai is appreciable and I compliment you for this decision.

For getting into a teaching job as a lecturer / professor in a polytechnic, you need to be a masters degree holder in your relevant and preferred stream. Ensure that the post graduation you do should be based on your core interest, passion and liking, since the more interest, passion and liking you have for that particular subject domain, the best teacher / lecturer / professor you can be and the more students will like you and respect you. You need to acquire either MTech or ME qualification.

Also here, please do not do you post graduation through distance learning, since that will not be recognised and accepted by the polytechnic college for the position of the Faculty / Lecturer.

It is highly recommended that you do your PG through regular course by attending classes.

In your case, since you have a work experience of a foreign country, this will be a great great value addition and a big positive point when you apply for faculty / lecturer positions in polytechnic colleges in Chennai or Tamil Nadu.

Once you qualify and get a Masters degree, you can directly apply for teaching positions and you will be surely considered for the vacant positions. Later on in life, it is highly recommended that you complete your PhD for a secure, stable and high earning life ahead.

Best Luck
