Dear Aspirant
Welcome to CareerGuide
We are more than happy to guide you for a proper career.

You are really thinking different. I am thrilled to speak to such a different person who thinks different. Nice meeting you.

Retail sector is very vast and there are ample opportunities. In India, the retail sector is not yet flourished and that is a shining career path to you. Till now, in India, retail area were totally controlled by small scale retailers who were available in every nook and corner of the country. They act as the last link between the customer and manufacturer in the marketing ladder. Also the retail sector was not that organised. Customers were needed to visit different stores for their needs.

The scenario has changed now and there are super and hyper markets available throughout cities in India and the area is developing. Consumers like one stop solution for their needs. They want everything they need be available under one roof. Retail sectors meets such consumers' demands. And such customers are maximum.

Therefore there are ample opportunities. The retail sector grew very fast and vast. ASSOCHEM predicts that india's retail sector should reach 47 lakh crore by 2016-2017. Is it astonishing? You are a success if you have it in you.

There are different courses in retail sector including certificate, diploma, post graduate diploma, degree and post graduate degree. National Institute of retail management offers a course named Masters in Retail Supply Chain Management. Master of Business Administration in Retail is offered by several universities and Institutes and they are also equally good.

Before jumping into bandwagon, you should know yourself. There are psychometric tests available to know your skill set, personality, aptitude and attitude. Knowing you helps you correcting your shortfalls or making your shortfalls into success mantra and to polish your skills which are good enough. Therefore try to take one of these Career Assessment Test and understand yourself.

Career is your life, lifestyle. Career is self actualization. Career is self satisfaction. Money is secondary and passion is primary. people succeeds only with a passion.
Hope this answers your query.
Good luck.
