The students who aspires to make a career in the Commerce field is one of the top most career option for them. Banking sector is growing at the faster phase day by day with the development of the economy,trade and commerce not only in country but also in the foreign market. In Banking sector there is a great presence of the private bankas day by day and are playing a very major role in th banking sector along with the Government Banking Sector.

Earlier there used to be not much of the vacancies available in the banking sector. With teh introduction of technology and the new services this has given a room to have a great career opportunities in the banking sector. A perosn who apsires to make a career in the filed of the Banking they can make their career either in the Government Banks or in The Private Banks.

There are many career opportunities in the Banking Fiels like Clerk,PO,IT Officer,Law Officer etc. In order to make a career in any of these one has to give an screening test.

If you wish to make a career in the Government Banking Sector than you can either make a career in SBI or other 21 government banks. For SBI one needs to give SBI Clerk/PO exam whereas for other banks one needs to give an IBPS Clerk/PO exam.

For private banks the exam is organsied by the respective banks.

The eligibility criteria for Govt. Banks and Private is as follows-

 Government Banks-

  1. A candidate who has completed a graduation degree from any stream from a recognised university or who is in the last year of graduation and is waiting for result can also apply for the exam.
  2. Nationality- Indian.
  3. Age 20 to 30 years;5 years relaxation for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for disabled person.

Private Banks-

  1. Should have completed Graduation degree from any stream from a recognised university.
  2. Age within the 25 years of age.
  3. Should be an Indian.

If you meet the above eligibility criteria than you can write an Bank Exam.

For IT officer and Law officer the criteria is different.
