there are various options for finance managers-
corporate finance- in corporate finance, the main job responsibilities of incumbent involves finding various sources to raise finance , grow the business , make acquisitions , plan for developing the business of the company.
investment banking- investment banker helps investors in buying , trading and managing financial assets.
money management- money managers purchase and carry corporate bonds , agency securities , asset backed securities and other fixed income investment products.
financial planning- financial planners helps people make advance provision for financial needs that may arise in future. it requires answering questions and educating clients regarding risk factors to help them to invest their money wisely.
insurance- in insurance , the work mainly involves assessing the risk in business solving wide range of financial problems related with insurance investments designing the policies etc.
commercial banking- commercial banks serve large corporations , small businesses as well as the general public. the starting point would be as tellers after which people shift to other areas of banking services like credit card banking, trade credit , leasing and international finance
.
real estate- real estate fields are mortgage banking,property management, real estate appraisals, brokerage and leasing and real estate development and stock broking.
