It seems that you are very much determined to make a career in the field of Microbiology. Before planning to do a career in any of the field one should always gather a proper information.its pros and cons,demand and scope of the particular career option.

Microbiology is a field of science that studies growth,characteristics of the micro organisms or microbes. The micro organisms are omnipresent in the surrounding. Some of the Micro Organisms are helpful in the way of by making these micro organisms in the Anti-Biotics and Vitamins where as some of the organisms are responsible for the development of the infectious diseases. Micro- Biology is a very wide term which includes the study of Virology,Bacteriology,Mycology etc.

 

A person who studies the Micro Biology is called as Microbiologist. In order to make a career in the field of Microbiology one needs to have completed the +2 or equivalent qualification from science with the subjects like Biology or Mathematics as one of the subject. One can apply for the B.Sc in Microbiology after +2 or can also go for the M.Sc in Microbiology after completing the B.Sc from Life Science or Microbiology.

Furthermore one can apply for the PhD program after completing the M.Sc.
