Let me begin right from the start or the basic qualification needed.
As such, you would have to clear 12th in PCM stream.
After that you need to either choose B.Sc Computer Science or an Engineering stream, i.e. B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science or electronics. Since to develop games, you need to know computers language and embedded systems very well.
After that you can opt for an M.Tech in Gaming technology and then joining the gaming industry.
Please note that more than a masters degree, experience is more important. Especially if you are good with languages and software applications, animations etc, you can join the gaming industry.
Even a degree in MCA which teaches you about software application and embedded systems can help you join the gaming industry.
