In order to identify the interest and aptitude and measure it against your career as an Insurance Officer you need to keep in mind the following points and answer the questions accordingly. That will help you figure out whether this career is right for you or not.

1. The most important thing you should ask yourself - how interested you are in the insurance sector. The role of an insurance officer expects you to have clear understanding of this sector and the knowledge of the various technical aspects so that you can do well. You need to explain these things to your prospective clients and therefore the right knowledge is mandatory.

2. How excited you are to meet new people. This again is important in your job role. You will have to contact people over phone and arrange meetings with them. During these meetings you will have to explain about various policies and also convince them for taking a particular policy. Therefore you need to ensure that you mark your impression on them by greeting them in the right manner. Your impression on them will impact their mindset whether to go for policy or not.

3. You need to work on the policies and do the paper work for that. Therefore you need to be good at numbers and doing the paper work. The whole process requires a lot of formalities and doing the written work. You should be able to work with that comfortably so that the applications are processed correctly and in time.

It may be extremely difficult at times to figure out your interest and aptitude all by yourself. Therefore the need of psychometric assessment tests arises. These tests which are prepared by psychologists and educationists give the clear picture of the interest and aptitude of an individual with clarity and perfection. The psychometric test can be taken at the homepage of this website as per you education level and hence you can map that to your career as an Insurance Officer.
