In order to figure out whether you have the right interest or aptitude to become a Web Designer you need to ask yourself following questions.

1. How good you are at designing? Not specific to any work but designing in general. This is the most basic part of this profession and therefore you need to be naturally good at designing.

2. How good is your sense of colors and patterns? This again is very important as it describes the actual look and feel of the website. You need to add the right colors and design based on the kind of website that you are designing.

3. How excited you are to design a website? You need to be extremely passionate about designing the website. You should have right knowledge about various websites. You should understand why a particular website is designed in its present form. There is always reasons behind them. Try to figure out them.

4. How much tech-savy are you? This is probably the most crucial factor in determining your career as a web designer. You need to have the right knowledge and skills to develop and design the website and you should be really comfortable while working with a piece of programming code or the tool available for designing purpose. You should be an expert on them then only you can succeed in this business.

It's understandable that deciding the career all by yourself and finding the answers to the above mentioned questions can be really challenging and is often a tedious task. Also there is some probability that you might be mistaken as most of the times we ourselves are not sure about our interests. Therefore you can take the psychometric tests which will provide you the right answers to these questions. You can then decide the career based on the various parameters that have been calculated in the test. You can take the psychometric test in the homepage of this website. Please take the test as per your educational qualifications.
