Do not panic and just rush in selecting a stream on basis of what others say and what you feel. I will also suggest you to go for career aptitude tests which basically assess your personality, intelligence and interests and then guide you fro fields you can well settle in. Obviously there is a difference between career and interest and interests can become your career if you are passionate about it.
