Hi, Communication is a skill which is required to be mastered irrespective of the field of job or career one is in. Even a doctor requires good communication skill as well as a engineer who is working on site. Therefore I would suggest you to read as much as possible so that you get to know how the industry speaks. You can read business newspapers which will give you an exact idea of the business language used. Also if required you can opt for english and communication classes in your local area. Communication as said earlier is a very must thing today. Best Luck
Communication skill is a basic requirement in life irrespective of your profession. Communication is person's style of expressing his/her thoughts in the correct manner to send required message to other person or group of people. When it comes to Industrial Engineering, it needs communication with group and individual as well and such communication has to be prompt and precise, technically and technologically accurate and correct, building good report with team, motivational, firm and thoughtful kind of communication. You also need to be aware of thinking and communication style of yours and that of other person. Some persons understand from gist or clue they receive, some need all details before acting upon, some need clear guidance and instruction about how to do things. Some need encouragement and some others need pressure to start work. Understanding these things and using them correctly is an important step for being successful industrial engineer.
