Hello,
Thanks for putting up your query on meracareerguide.

As a branch of alternative medicine, Homeopathy is strongly based on the client-therapist relationship and trust.

As a practicing homeopath, one can choose to either work in a hospital setting or be a freelance practitioner.

Both the options have their pros and cons. Let us look at both of them separately.

Working in a hospital setting would give you the stability of being anchored to an institution. You will constantly have an influx of patients. However it would mean a fixed salary and lesser freedom as you would have to stick to the hospital rules and protocol.

On the other hand for a private practice you have the freedom and flexibility but the success would depend on your efforts and performance. As it is a field strongly based on client satisfaction, you have to work on building a good level of trust in your patients so that they stick to the treatment regimen. In such a way you can achieve positive results and satisfaction, with which the patients will spread the goodwill by word of mouth. This will substantiate you practice. A successful practitioner can also visit hospitals as a consultant and charge by the hour. Thus you can benefit from both the worlds.

All the best.
Nandini
