The typical day of an Electronics Engineer is spent as below:

 


    • It is important to stay updated about the latest developments in the technology, First of all they read the technology news, what is happening in the field of electronics around the world.

 


    • They check their emails at the office before starting their day. If any urgent issue is there, they have to communicate it to the right person.

 


    • If you are working as Design Engineer, you will have to stay in touch with the clients and manufacturers. If the manufacturing unit is in house, you will have to coordinate with the team.

 


    • You will have to work on the hardware part and designing the circuits and networks.







    • The design team works on the overall design of the component and gets the approval from the senior management. The expertise in design software is essential.

 


    • If you are a part of the testing team, your work begins after the design phase of the project. The testing unit is subjected to the quality assurance and the reliability.

 


    • For existing products, electronics engineers work on the production line and testing them. They have to ensure that the products meet the desired parameters.







    • Once you get in to a senior position, project management comes in to the picture. Apart from doing your own work, you will have to handle the team and ensure that deadlines are strictly beingfollowed.

 


    • All throughout the day, you will have to communicate to your team members and work with them to ensure the right progress of the project.
