Let me describe you the typical day of an interior designer:

Get up in the morning and go to the office (or at home if you are a free lancer)

Surf through the latest web trends and information about the interior designing. Get the right knowledge and updates.

Check your e-mail and see if you have got any message or update from the clients.

Meeting the client. Either they can visit your office or you can go to their place. You will discuss the blueprint and see if any changes are to be made. You will get to understand more about their requirements as converse more. Accordingly you will come up with more creative ideas that you can implement in their interiors. You will have to show the similar interiors to convince them for the new idea. The discussions take quite a long time to finish it. You will have to be careful while wrapping them up. You have to be polite.

Once you are done with the meeting you can focus on the real work that has to be done. You will go through various requirements and do the research, before you plan the next steps. You will start working on the assignment and gather the right information.

I hope you had your lunch. Did you?

Probably next client is ready for the meeting. If not, you will have to keep working on the same assignment. Remember, it's important to smartly manage your time and plan things accordingly

.

You may be required to take the measurements of the rooms and building or even spend some time there to understand the interiors better. Then you will use the models or sample materials to experiment with the interiors and get the right flair of creativity.

The number of clients may increase and that will increase the burden on you. But you are going to enjoy. The day has ended, enjoy the evening.
