Dear Aspirant,

99 percentile is what you aim for CAT exam. It's nice to see your aim.

It's not about how long hours you prepare for the CAT, but how do you prepare for CAT. If it would have been so simple that more the number of hours studied for CAT, higher the percentile, then all would have done that only.

You need to be well organised, fast, disciplined and perfect while appearing for the CAT questions. You need to do a lot of practice to score 99 plus percentile. Generally, students who spend one year atleast for CAT preparation are able to get above the 98 percentile mark. Short cuts are not possible for scoring 99 plus percentile.

If you have enrolled in a coaching class, then it is good since you will get guidance and help and which in turn will build your confidence. If you are self studying, still you have to do a lot of mock tests.

Best wishes
