There are large number of companies in India that hire for the positions of business analysts. These companies are from different industries and give you the opportunity of working in diverse environments. Below provided points will help you about the information regarding those companies and how can you enter them:

1. The first is the information technology sector companies that hire business analysts. These are the software companies that provide IT solutions to their clients in India and even abroad. In fact most of their clients are in USA. The criteria to enter these companies is to have at least an engineering degree preferably in the IT or Computer Engineering branch, though those who belong to other branches also get hired. The work in such cases is mostly on the software that you learn during the training period. The salaries are decent and you enjoy healthy work life balance too. You also get the opportunities to visit the on site and meet the clients.

2. The second is the consulting space where the recent growth has been extra ordinary. The business analysts hired for consulting space are usually divided in to various sectors. Those who get hired for technology sectors are usually from the engineering colleges while those who are in to management consulting are hired from business schools having an MBA degree. Similarly for other industries too. But recently most companies are only focusing on either engineers or MBA graduates to hire for business analyst positions as they have good analytical skills and are suitable for the job. The salaries in this sector are hefty and among the best.

3. The third is the generalized space where business analysts get hired in all types of companies. There are not as many positions as in the earlier two cases but a number of people do get hired in all these companies too. They are usually the professionals with some work experience. Freshers rarely get hired & in such companies but then the salaries are again hefty too.
